President in 2012

As I sit here watching the 2008 campaign unfold, and I pay $4.00 a gallon for gas, watch my neighbors loose their homes, I think back just a few weeks ago when the President got up in front of the American people and said everything was fine, there is no recession.

I think we the American people need to take a long look at the future. I am not a political person, but I can't in good conscience vote for either candidate. We cannot take 4 more years of Republican politics and war, and I don't think that Obama has the plan to right the ship.

I have decided to start my grass roots campaign for 2012. I believe that it is time to revisit the concept of Isolationism. We need to pull ALL of our troops back. Close foreign bases. Let the rest of the world take care of itself. We need to get American business up and running. If other countries want to sell their products here make them pay for the privilege. Let the military do its job of protecting our borders not Iraq's or anyone else. If they need our help they can come and ask and we will look at it on a case by case basis, but home issues come first. Lets get these countries that owe us money to pay up or barter the debt for something we need.

We need to put people to work, not hand out free money. Lets review the WPA or the CCC and use that model to rebuild our infrastructure while giving people a hand not a hand out (I think I stole that quote)

Remember America is For Americans - All of us.
